Active Directory Workflow

Workflow in ADManager Plus is a multi-level approval process which lets administrators have control over delegated tasks and optimize task execution. A business workflow can have a maximum of four different levels with different workflow agents, namely requesters, reviewers, approvers, and executors, with each of them playing a crucial role in task execution. Administrators can customize the approval workflow process, meaning they can define the number of levels of scrutiny based on the task at hand. For instance, AD cleanup should not be executed without supervision, so the associated workflow should have a reviewer and an executor.

Workflow requests are stored in the request repository and can be viewed by the associated workflow agent. To ensure that delegated tasks are accomplished in a defined time period and to improve productivity, ADManager Plus lets you define service-level agreements (SLAs) for workflow requests. Workflow SLAs help administrators prioritise sensitive requests and ensure that they are executed on time with remediation measures.
